CDC Durango is a high-yielding two-row feed barley with short strong straw, nice plump kernels, and very good lodging resistance. This variety is the CDC Austenson replacement.

- Yield is 106% of the check (Altorado)
- Shorter and stronger straw and very good resistance to lodging
- Moderately Resistant to Spotted Net Blotch
- Moderately Resistant to Netted Net Blotch
- Intermediate Resistant to Stem Rust
- Intermediate Resistant to Fusarium Head Blight
- Moderately Susceptible to Scald and Spotted Net Blotch
- Maturity date similar to the CDC Austenson (Medium)
